JobAlchemy is an AI co-pilot that tailors your CV to each role and helps you complete applications with minimal manual effort. Use it via the web app (paste a job description into Resume Generator) or the Chrome extension on Chrome or Edge. The extension recommends roles, opens LinkedIn Jobs, generates a tailored CV in about 20-30 seconds, injects it into Easy Apply, saves every CV and application to your web app and tracker, and offers autofill answers based on your profile. Keep your profile updated for best results.

Which browsers does the JobAlchemy extension support?

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. If you are on another browser, you can still use the Resume Generator on the JobAlchemy web app.

What platforms can the extension be used on?

The extension is currently optimized for LinkedIn. For other platforms like Glassdoor or Naukri Gulf, use the web app: open Resume Generator, paste the job description, and generate a tailored CV. This is a temporary workaround until support expands beyond LinkedIn.

What devices / operating systems are supported?

Any laptop or desktop that can run Chrome or Edge (Windows and macOS). For best results, use the extension on desktop.

Is JobAlchemy free right now?

Yes. The free trial includes 5 CV credits and 10 autofill credits. CV credits apply whether you use the Resume Generator or the extension. Autofill credits apply when you use the extension to fill LinkedIn form fields (1 click = 1 autofill credit).

Paid plans are coming soon, but pricing is not fully rolled out yet. For now, everyone gets the free trial so you can see how the CV tailoring and autofill works in real applications.

Are the CVs ATS-friendly?

Yes. The CVs use a clean layout, readable structure, keyword alignment to the job description, and formatting that does not break parsing. The goal is to make your CV easy for both software and humans to read.

Why does the CV not have heavy design, colors, or a photo?

Because heavy design can hurt ATS performance. Photos, icons, columns, and graphics can confuse ATS systems, hide keywords, or break formatting when parsed. The template is intentionally clean and professional, widely used at top universities, and focused on clarity, structure, and role-specific keywords.

I am applying on a platform you do not support yet. Can I still use JobAlchemy?

Yes. Use the Resume Generator in the web app: paste the job description, generate a tailored CV, then download and apply on that platform.
